The Bureau of Meteorology [BOM] advise minor flooding is expected across the region over the next few days. Catchments across the Flood Watch area are wet and responsive to rainfall.

Showers and thunderstorms will continue in western Queensland and the southern interior for the next few days. Showers and thunderstorms are also forecast across the region. You can view updated weather broadcasts at www.bom.gov.au via their ‘YouTube’ severe weather update (look to the lower left of their website).

MUNGINDI

Barwon River at Mungindi is currently at 6.7m and steady. Mungindi residents can expect a flow of up to 6.9m into Sunday.
