  • Balonne Shire Council is seeking a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Manager Roads Construction and Maintenance to lead the operations of Council's roads, drainage (including bridges), plant, fleet and aerodromes. As the Manager Roads Construction and Maintenance, you will build networks with key stakeholders, negotiating and influencing to promote and embed the organisation's roads infrastructure strategies. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead, manage and mentor a motivated, multidisciplinary team.

    • Monitor and provide technical support for council's infrastructure program.

    • Take a commercial approach to your work activities and processes.

    • Develop key contractual relationships within the roads infrastructure sector.

    • Project manage council's roads infrastructure projects and programs.
