Bulletin 4 - Sunday 7 August 2022 - 1.00 pm

This is a bulletin from the Local Disaster Management Group (LDMG) for the Balonne
Shire. Conditions are beginning to ease on the Balonne River with no significant rainfall
expected over the weekend.
 
Bureau of Meteorology advise the Bokhara River at Hebel is currently at 1.12 metres
and rising slowly with minor flooding. The Bokhara River at Hebel is likely to remain
above the minor flood level (1.00 m) and continue rising slowly over the weekend and
into Monday.

ROAD RE-OPENS

The State controlled road Castlereagh Highway between Dirranbandi and Hebel –
has been re-opened with caution.
