Balonne Shire Council has received Snap Send Solve’s 2026 Responsive Solver Award, beating 76 other local government bodies across Queensland.
The Queensland Responsive Solver Award is earned by achieving the highest percentage of Snap status updates and receiving stellar communication star ratings from their communities.
Council’s Chief Executive Officer Michelle Clarke welcomed this award as an endorsement of Council’s commitment to communicating effectively with local residents.
“This award is recognition of the processes developed within our Council and the efforts of our team to support our local community.
“As a Council, our team deals with around 400 service requests each month across all areas within Council, such as road potholes, roaming dogs, damage to parks and facilities and environmental compliance.
“These service requests come into Council via phone calls, emails, walk-ins and also via the Snap Send Solve app, which is used by Council’s across Australia and New Zealand.
“In Council, we invest a great deal of time and effort into ensuring that we are responding swiftly and effectively to queries and service requests from local residents.
“Our staff provide an invaluable public service to our local residents, and I would like to congratulate each and every one of them for going above and beyond to help our local community.”
