Pest control to start around Balonne Shire

Pest control activities will be occurring around sewerage manholes across the Balonne Shire from the end of October, with Council engaging contractor GT's Pest Control to complete the works.

The contractor will be spraying sewerage manholes for the control of cockroaches in the towns of Dirranbandi, Bollon, and St George between Saturday, 31st October and Friday, 13th November.

The schedule is as follows:

• Dirranbandi: 31st October - 1st November
• Bollon: 7th November
• St George: 9th November - 13th November

GT's pest control will need to acccess private property in order to perform these pest control activities; manholes are required to have unhindered access, meaning the areas must be free of rubbish and debris, gates must be unlocked, and animals must be restrained.

Council apologises for any inconvenience which may occur while the pest control is in progress.
