Water main construction works: St George

A number of water inturruptions are due to occur in St George this month. Please be advised of the following:

WEDNESDAY, 12 AUGUST

Balonne Shire Council will be undertaking water main and fire hydrant repairs on Henry St, St George, from the Victoria St intersection to the Alfred St intersection.

This work will commence at 8.30am on Wednesday, 12 August for a period of 2-3 hours.

River water supply will be turned off while works are in progress.

We apologise for any inconvenience which may occur while these works are in progress.

THURSDAY, 13 AUGUST

Balonne Shire Council will be undertaking water main repairs on Munro St, St George, and Arthur St (from the Barlee St intersection to the Grey St intersection).

This work will commence at 9am on Thursday, 13 August for a period of 2-3 hours.

Bore water supply will be turned off while works are in progress.

We apologise for any inconvenience which may occur while these works are in progress.

TUESDAY, 18 AUGUST

Balonne Shire Council will be undertaking water main construction works on Beardmore Pl, St George, from the Grey St intersection to the Henry St intersection.

This work will commence from Tuesday 18 August, for a period of approximately 10 working days.

Traffic flows and driveway access will be disrupted at certain times while the work is in progress, and there will be disruptions to the bore and river water supply periodically during construction works.

We apologise for any inconvenience which may occur while these works are in progress.

Water main works will occur on Beardmore Pl from Tuesday, 18 August for approximately 10 working days.
