Nindigully Local Attractions

Nindigully is visited by many tourists not only for its historical value but also to try their hand at fishing in the Moonie River. Although the route of the highway no longer runs through Nindigully, the Moonie River is still crossed by the original 1885 timber bridge which, with all its history and character, adds to the picturesque setting.

 Nindigully Pub

The Nindigully Pub is a rambling historical hotel nestled beside the Moonie River 44km from St George. Established in 1864 the hotel was a Cobb & Co. Coach changing station from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. It is believed to hold on of the longest continual licences in Queensland. The original building has changed little since it was first built and the swan timber walls delight many visitors.
