Bollon is a tidy, friendly community that prides itself on its heritage, the line of Burdekin plum trees up the main street invites you to wander down along the Wallam , among the beautiful gums where the koalas laze and birdlife is plentiful.

Bollon Heritage Centre

The centre is filled with articles telling the history of Bollon, the locals will give you a guided heritage tour. On Display is the first telephone exchange that operated from the 1920's through to the 1980's when the service became automated.

Nullawokka Aboriginal Tours

The tour offers walking tours which takes approximately two hours and are conducted by a descendant of the Kooma people. During the walk visitors can learn about beautiful Wallam Creek, native flora and fauna, the historic Bollon cemetery, visit an Aboriginal dig tree, dance area, clay pan and humbie.

Thrushton National Park

Thrushton is home to a vast array of native flora and fauna, with a large collection of birds for the avid birdwatcher. The park is accessible by dirt road, and visitors are expected to be totally self sufficient, with water in particular.
