Council is looking to collect information on the mobile black spots in our Shire. This will enable us to have information on hand to apply for funding as opportunities arise.
How to Lodge a Mobile Black Spot Location with Balonne Shire
1. Determine the latitude and longitude of the mobile black spot location.
3. Identify any Public Interest Premises1 (see note below)
2. Contact our Grants Officer, Stephanie Price, to register the mobile black spot location(s)

1 Public Interest Premises
A Public Interest Premises is defined as a premises or location that the Program considers is used on a continuing basis for a public interest purpose, and which may include: (a) an economic centre; (b) an emergency services facility*; (c) a health facility*; (d) an educational facility; (e) an indigenous community organisation; (f) a local government facility*; or (g) a not-for-profit organisation. *Note: Mobile solutions should not be utilised in the supply of life-critical systems.
