Situated overlooking the Balonne River, parking is accessible at the rear with additional caravan parking in Roe Street. 

Whether it's brochures and maps, or general tourist advice you need, we have it covered. Giving unbiased and friendly advice, the staff and volunteers love nothing more than to guide you around the streets of St George and within the beautiful Balonne Shire spanning over 31,119 km². 

While you're in there, browse the centre for locally made arts and crafts; history books or yummy jams and sauces. 

The town bore water supply is available to fill up the caravan for the next leg of your journey.

The Balonne Shire Visitor Information Centre is open from 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.

Please note the Balonne Shire Visitor Information Centre is closed on the following days:
