Wild Dog Exclusion Fence Coordinator (temporary full time)

This role is initially being offered as a 2-year full time, fixed term contract (To be reviewed for a potential additional year extension after 18 months)

The Wild Dog Exclusion Fence (WDEF) Coordinator is responsible for coordinating key biosecurity projects, and in particular the strategy, stakeholder liaison, funding, contract management, procurement, monitoring and reporting associated with the WDEF to control invasive pests and protect and diversify the agricultural economy.

Construction and Maintenance Supervisor Roads

Balonne Shire Council has an opportunity for a new Construction and Maintenance Supervisor Roads.

The Construction and Maintenance Supervisor Roads is a key role within the Council's Infrastructure Services team and is responsible for supervising the construction and maintenance of Council's road and street works (including drainage) by Council's day labour workforce and sub-contractors. You will manage your work group with a focus on safety, operational compliance and work quality.

Administration Officer - Casual (St George)

Balonne Shire Council is seeking applications from flexible and adaptable individuals to join our team in the position listed below:

Administration Officer – Casual: St George.  We will appoint a number of casuals to this role who will be on call and/or rostered to provide administrative and customer service support across Council’s corporate, finance, infrastructure, community and environmental departments, as required.

Applicants must be flexible and have the ability to adapt to rotating work environments. This position is a casual appointment and we welcome applicants who would like to nominate the days or hours they would be available. Casuals will be notified of a roster with notice, however may also receive requests to work at short notice.
