Expressions of Interest - Short-Term Project Management
Balonne Shire Council is seeking submissions from suitably qualified individuals and/or organisations for the management and roll-out for three (3) projects:
- Digital Connectivity Project(s)
- Dirranbandi Rural Transaction Centre (RTC) Hub Technology Pilot
- Dirranbandi Business Beautification Scheme
Council gratefully acknowledges the funding support from the Queensland Government through the Department of State Developments Building Our Regions Program and the Australian Government through the Department of Agriculture and Waters Murray Darling Basin Economic Development Program.
Council is willing to consider a flexible approach to the delivery of the project activities and encourages applications from individuals and/or organisations with relevant experience that are willing to work in-house (as required) with the Council team to deliver results. The projects timeframe is approximately September 2019 – September 2020.

Invitation for Landholder Applications
Communities Combatting Pests and Weeds Impacts During Drought Program ~ Balonne Shire Wild Dog Exclusion Fence
This project is funded by the Australian Government under the Communities Combatting Pests and Weed Impacts During Drought Program.
Council is seeking applications from interested landholders within the Balonne Shire area to participate in this project.
The funding available is a total of $800,000 with a 50:50 co-contribution from both landholders and Council.
Applications are open to all landholders within the Balonne Shire area.
Applications close at 3 pm on Thursday, 22 August 2019.
